With profound sadness, family, friends, and colleagues are mourning the passing of Todd Cranston, who died on May 4, 2026, following a courageous battle with Brain Cancer. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Todd was remembered as a compassionate, dependable, and deeply genuine person whose presence made others feel valued and supported. Whether through friendship, leadership, mentorship, or simple acts of kindness, he built lasting connections everywhere he went. Those closest to him describe him as someone people could always trust and rely upon.
At the center of Todd’s life was his devotion to family. He shared a loving 30-year marriage with his wife, Sandy Lee, and together they raised their sons, Alec and Lochlin, who brought him immense pride and joy. Family members say Todd’s greatest fulfillment came from being a husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
He was also a cherished son to Marion Cranston and a loving brother to Tim, Tony, and Stephanie. His strong family bonds were rooted in loyalty, humor, support, and unconditional love. He was predeceased by his father, Murdock Cranston, along with several beloved relatives whose memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Professionally, Todd earned widespread respect for his integrity, leadership, and dedication. A graduate of Saint Mary’s University and JL Isley High School, he built a successful career in technical sales and ultimately served as Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada with Hetek Solutions.
For more than a decade, Todd played an important role in the company’s growth across Eastern and Atlantic Canada. Colleagues admired not only his professionalism and work ethic but also the kindness and authenticity he brought to every interaction. Many remember him as a mentor and teammate who genuinely cared about others both personally and professionally.
Even during his illness, Todd faced difficult days with remarkable resilience, courage, and grace. Supported by the love of his family and community, he continued to inspire those around him through his strength and determination.
As loved ones grieve this tremendous loss, they also celebrate a life defined by love, integrity, generosity, and purpose. Todd Cranston leaves behind a legacy carried forward through his family, friendships, career accomplishments, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
