Born on July 7, 1976, Sharon J. Hummel Mink was the beloved daughter of Lorraine Hummel and the late Joseph Hummel. Throughout her life, she was admired for her caring spirit and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. Friends and family describe her as someone who always made others feel welcome, supported, and valued.
Sharon was the devoted wife of Timothy Mink and a loving mother to their two children, Olivia and Luke Mink, who were the center of her world. Those closest to her say she found her greatest joy in supporting her family and creating a home filled with love, encouragement, and togetherness.
She is also survived by her sister, Melissa Jenesky, brother-in-law Denny Jenesky, and her nieces Ava and Caroline Jenesky, all of whom shared a close bond with Sharon and will deeply miss her presence.
A graduate of Penn State University, Sharon earned a degree in Accounting and built a respected professional career marked by dedication, intelligence, and integrity. Colleagues appreciated her dependable nature and strong work ethic, while friends admired her humility and generosity.
Outside of work, Sharon enjoyed sports and was a passionate supporter of the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Game days often became cherished family moments filled with excitement and laughter.
